Add ultimate drivability to your Jenvey ITB's with our range of air distributor manifolds and accessories. Now that all Jenvey throttle bodies come standard with idle bleeds, this feature can be added to any of our kits.

This can also be used to provide a stable manifold pressure signal for speed density type mapping.

Overview

The essential idea behind this is to use an idle control motor to allow extra air to bypass and create a high idle condition for cold running or counter for air conditioning or power steering load which can cause stalling issues.

The idle control valve id mounted into the DM2 distribution manifold which sends extra air past the throttle blades and into the inlet manifold, allowing the ECU to control idle speed.

A manifold pressure sensor can also be plumbed in to enable a more consistent signal from all intake runners to be sent to the ecu for speed denisty mapping. Care should be taken that the idle air control valve doesn't create false signals to the sensor.

When coupled with Magneti Marelli's dynamic idle control, a mixture of spark timing manipulation and idle air bypass control creates very civil and docile low speed operation.
